The fairy-tale forest around you

Mossy paths and thousand-year oaks, the Fairy-tale Route, e-bike loops that start at the yard. Sleeping Beauty’s Sababurg, Rapunzel’s Trendelburg, the wildlife park — all within reach.
And in the evening? The forest falls silent, the fire crackles, and you are simply tired in the best way.
Just the two of you
“Where do we find quiet — and something good, close by?”
Coffee in the garden while the mist lifts off the meadows. An outdoor fireplace at the Melkerstübchen, the horses grazing in view. Regional, seasonal produce from the little farm shop, “das Lädchen”, just around the corner.
Nothing loud. Just the two of you, slower than at home.

Through the forest, across the yard, into the living room in the evening — your dog is welcome in both homes. Wide paths, fields, and a fenced garden to come back to.

Wir hatten ein wunderschönes Wochenende. Familie Sommer war super nett und wir fühlten uns hier pudelwohl. Unsere Tochter und unser Sohn fühlten sich hier wie Zuhause und genossen den Kontakt zu den zahlreichen Ponys. Die 2 Reitstunden mit Ihrer Reitlehrerin Paula waren für unsere Tochter das schönste Erlebnis. Die Ferienwohnung ist top eingerichtet, sehr sauber und gemütlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder! Macht weiter so!!!! DANKE!
Wir kommen jedes Jahr in die Ferienwohnung und sind immer begeistert. Eine sehr gemütliche Wohnung mit einer tollen Ausstattung und die Atmosphäre auf dem Hof ist einfach großartig!
Gut Waitzrodt mit der Familie Sommer ist ein sehr freundlich und kompetent Familienbetrieb, die den Aufenthalt für die Gäste möglichst erholsam machen. In der Idylle auf diesen historischen Gutshof mit den vielen Pferden kann man sich herrlich entspannen. Die Ferienwohnung ist modern eingerichtet aber der Charme des Gebäudes ist dabei nicht verloren gegangen. Auch der Ausritt in der Umgebung hat viel Spaß gemacht. Es gibt auch viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten in der näheren Umgebung.
Wir hatten ein tolles Wochenende auf Gut Waitzrodt. Das Melkerstübchen ist urgemütlich und sehr sauber. Unsere Tochter hatte viel Spaß bei ihren Reitstunden auf Owen mit Reitlehrerin Laura. Es gefiel uns so gut, dass wir im Herbst nochmal wiederkommen.
Die Kinder hatten vor allem viel Spaß bei ihrer tollen Reitlehrerin Laura. In der näheren Umgebung war insbesondere der Reinhardswald und der Tierpark Sababurg einen Abstecher wert.
Vielen Dank für die Entspannte Zeit bei euch auf Gut Weitzrodt, wir haben uns sehr gut erholt. Meine Kinder hatten vor allem viel Spaß bei ihrer tollen Reitlehrerin Laura. Und Wir freuen uns im Oktober wieder bei euch zu sein.
Meine Tochter und ich hatten ein traumhaftes Wochenende auf dem Gut Waitzrodt. Das"Melkerstübchen" ist liebevoll gestaltet, mit wunderschönen alten Details. Trotzdem fehlt es an nichts! Das ganze Gut ist ein Pferdehof-Traum! Meine Tochter hatte die schönste Reitstunde ihres Lebens auf dem großen Reitplatz. Wir mussten leider mit Tränen abreisen und dem Versprechen, wieder zu kommen :-)
Wir haben sehr schöne Tage auf Gut Waitzrodt verbracht. Vielen Dank an die Familie Sommer, von der Gastfreundschaft bis hin zur Reitstunde alles perfekt. Für unsere Tochter bleibt es ein unvergessliches Erlebnis (sie hat sogar die Ponys von Judith in Ostwind 4 erkannt😉). Wir kommen gerne wieder!
Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung war top sauber und sehr gemütlich. Das schönste für unsere Tochter war die Reitstunde mit Carlotta, sie ist einfach nur super und einfühlsam und geht hervorragend auf die Bedürfnisse der Kids ein❤️ Ein ❤️-lichens Dankeschön Carlotta. Selbst als Eltern, fanden wir die Führung " auf Ostwinds Spuren" total toll und spannend. Wir bedanken uns für das wunderschöne Wochenende. Die Indianer
Unsere Tochter hat einen wunderschönen Geburtstag dort gefeiert. Die Wohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet, alles passt zum Landhausstil. Einrichtung top, alles zu finden was man benötigt. Netter Service. Ruhe und Natur zum erholen
Wir haben uns in der Ferienwohnung Ostwind auf Gut Waitzrodt über Sylvester sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Ferienwohnung ist sehr gemütlich und stimmungsvoll eingerichtet. Auch an regnerischen Tagen kann man sich auf dem Sofa vor dem Kamin wunderbar entspannen oder aus dem Fenster dem Treiben auf dem Hof zusehen. Eine sehr schön gepflegter Pferdehof mit netten Menschen. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.
Wir haben 2 wundervolle Wochen auf Gut Waitzrodt verbracht. Die Ferienwohnung ist liebevoll eingerichtet und hat absoluten Wohlfühlcharakter. Unsere Töchter hatten 2 richtig tolle Reitstunden bei Eva und im 3tägigen Ponycamp bei Christine einzigartige und unvergessliche Erlebnisse. Vielen Dank dafür. Wir werden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. ☺️
