The estate — Gut Waitzrodt

Since 1978 the Sommer family has lived and worked here — together with a few other families on the yard. The whole estate spans around 14.6 hectares including its two little woods: courtyard buildings in the classic four-sided style, riding arenas, two indoor schools, meadows and old trees.

Around your holiday flat, a surprising number of things live and work side by side — from a real sport-riding estate to therapeutic riding, a school project, an event barn and the farm shop. You don’t have to take part in any of it; but it is all there, right outside your door.
